my new cards are here!! i’ve been looking forward to getting these for a little while now, and today the big brown truck showed up and dropped them off on my doorstep. i am really happy with the way they turned out. hopefully one day i will meet some of you “out & about” and be able to hand you one in person. but until then here is a picture of my new little babies.
i stopped by my parents house today, and my dad suggested that i blog about something unrelated to my photography that the general public might find interesting. well, i decided to take his advice (which i don’t do very often) and do a post that is of complete randomness. and you know what – i kinda liked it, so i may try and do a random post once a week just to keep everyone out there on their toes. todays post is a link to the most awesome-est website that i ever came across – Chuck Norris Facts – take a second and get yourself a little dose of chuck.
i had the great honor of photographing two of the most beautiful twin babies on their christening day at the church of st. bernadette. below is a sneak peak of the day and the wonderful family.
here are some cool photos of lily and her friend emma blowing bubbles outside of our house this afternoon. don’t you wish we could all go back to the time when the only thing that mattered to us was coming up with something fun to do? i would really have to say, “lily and emma are two of the very best at finding the fun.”

i finally found some time to post-process some of the photos from our wedding back in august of 2007 at the grounds for sculpture. i decided to take a few shots and add a little texture to them, below are the results. all of these images were photographed by the amazing monika broz and david m.
lily had her first t-ball game this afternoon. she plays for the navy blue team, wears number 10 (her daddy’s favorite number) and is the only girl on her team. she did amazingly well and will most likely start hitting from a pitcher next game. i think lily might end up taking after her mom and have herself a nice little softball career in her future – just as long as she also gets into surfing, i’ll be cool with it.. (;
i thought it was cool that when the red team came in from the field and lined up to bat – number 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 all sat down in sequence of each other.
we had a few thank you notes to send out today and lily was excited to drop them into the mailbox around the corner from our house, so we grabbed her scooter and the whole family was off for a short but wonderful walk. this little break in my day gave me the perfect opportunity to hone my skills with the new lensbaby.
